Joel Hewett is a multi-award winning Producer, who has worked across feature films, short films, television commercials and much more. His work has been screened at BFI, Aesthetica and many more of the world's top film festivals.
Joel's recent work includes Producing the feature film 'The House Was Not Hungry Then' Directed by Harry Aspinwall and starring Clive Russell, Bobby Rainsbury and Bill Paterson.
He has current work set to feature at Cinequest and BFI Futures, as well as a number of upcoming projects on his 2025 slate.
Since our formation in 2014, we've had a strong focus on kindness, compassion and empathy and have been selected for many major festivals, including BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica (ASFF).
We've worked with some of the UK's best talent such as Clive Russell, Bill Paterson, Karen Dunbar, Conor McCarron, Bobby Rainsbury and many more.
We've also won numerous awards, including the UK Charity Film of the Year for our work with the Down's Syndrome Association, and Best Scottish Film and Best Story for mental health short 'Induction' at the HB Film Festival.
We've mentored young filmmakers and helped them get their start in the industry, and have worked with some of Scotland's top film companies like Forest of Black, GMAC and MTP.
